Linn County Fair
We have been going to our local county fair and showing Texels since 2013 since we have been showing we have had numerous champion ewes as well as rams last year we took home the title of supreme ram in both the FFA and Open class divisions and we are very proud of our ram and ewes that won the shows.
Oregon State Fair
Oregon State Fair is one of our favorite show to compete at we have been showing our Texels there since 2013. Since then we have showed our texels proudly along with another breeder slowly building up our numbers so that we could eventually get our own breed show and we are excited to show at the next State Fair in our own breed class finally reaching the number needed to gain our class last year!
Mid West Stud Ram Sale
Last year we had the amazing experience of going to the Mid West Stud Ram Sale. We took two ram lambs and a yearling ewe back to Sedalia Missouri and had a great time at the show and sale we learned a lot about other Texel breeders with similar goals as us in the future of the Texel sheep breed. We also brought home a ewe lamb from the show and are hoping to make future connections with other breeders to improve our flocks genetics.
