History

Our family has been raising sheep since moving to our farm in Scio, Oregon in 2001.

We initially started with a Crossbred sheep flock.  Building up our flock over the years so that our children could have market lambs to show in 4-H and FFA, as well as selling market lambs to other local 4-H and FFA members for their fair projects.

Riana and Logan bought their first Texel sheep in 2013 as 4-H project animals.  They wanted a new and different breed to bring to our local county fair and after a lot of research, Riana fell in love with the Texel breed and convinced her brother to purchase one as well.   While Logan has moved on from the sheep breeding program after graduating from high school, while Riana has built our Texels into a nationally known flock.  We have entered numerous animals into the National Texel Show and Sale, with several entries being awarded the Reserve National Champion distinction.  We also continue to show our sheep at various local and county fairs, as well as the Oregon State Fair.  Riana has been recognized as the "Premier Texel Exhibitor" for the past 7 years.

Our Texel breeding flock consists of 25 ewes.

Thank you for visiting,
